Antama is headed-up by James N. Tanis, the owner and CEO. Mr. Tanis brings over 40 years of business experience and has significant international experience. The Antama Group, Inc. is the second successful company Mr. Tanis has created in between careers in the corporate world. Mr. Tanis received a BA degree in Chemistry from Marietta College and a MBA degree in marketing from Fairleigh Dickinson University. He has worked for Merck, Olin, E.I. duPont, and for the last 15 years was the Senior V.P. for the General Chemical Corp. In this company he managed a $500 million/year division comprising of six to eight different profit centers. During this period Mr. Tanis was involved in numerous divestitures and acquisitions which led him to form The Antama Group, Inc. after his retirement.

     Mr. Tanis is a noted author, self-publishing a 400 page technical reference hardcover, "Procedures Of Industrial Water Treatment," and was issued a patent in December, 2000 for a novel chemical suspension system. Mr. Tanis has worked in all parts of the world and speaks Spanish and Portuguese which helps in his business consulting assignments.
